The Isle of Skye airstrip, also known as the Broadford Aerodrome, is literally 10 minutes walk from our cottages. It is very rarely used, there are no scheduled flights to it, (long may that continue) but some private plane enthusiasts land there from time to time. We can arrange to meet you with a hire car if you wish to make use of the airstrip in your own aircraft. It is owned by Highland Council and they have a web page detailing conditions of use and charges.
The location of the airstrip is just a few miles from the Skye bridge.
