‘Tigh Eilidh’ pronounced as “Tie Aylee” is situated on ‘Cnoc Falasgeir’ or ‘Beacon Hill’. This last name was handed
down in our family – you won’t find it on the Ordnance Survey map! ‘Tigh Roisin’ (‘Tie Rosheen’) is 200 metres South of Tigh Eilidh, on the A87 beside the ‘Red Skye’ restaurant.
