Isle of Skye Hobbit House

| 0

The Hobbit House on the Isle of Skye, with its round door straight out of Middle Earth, is our glamping pod, with en suite accommodation. We’re at the highest point in the village of Breakish so there are lovely views of Broadford Bay and the islands of Scalpay, Raasay and Pabay. For return visitors, unfortunately Beinn na Cailleach (Hill of the Old Woman) is now somewhat obscured by a new house on the next croft although you can still see the cairn where the Norse princess is buried.

Inside there is a double bed with egyptian cotton sheets and a pocket-sprung mattress. The en suite has a whb, toilet and hot shower (electric). The open plan living accommodation has a two seater couch, dining table and chairs, sink, twin electric hob, oven, fridge and electric heaters. For these cosy nights in, there is an Internet TV giving you catch-up TV as well as Netflix, Amazon etc. Outside there is a very large deck from which you can sit in the deck-chairs (provided) and watch the sun setting over the islands.
